Daniel Marshall has been training Wing Chun Dynamics for over ten years, his interest in Kung Fu was sparked when he saw the movie Dragon – The Bruce Lee story. Dan was intrigued by the application of technical skill and the use of the wooden dummy. Always looking to stand out and be different, Dan knew he wouldn’t be happy with any of the better-known styles.

At 15 Dan began training with Master Dave Taylor founder of Wing Chun Dynamics improving his skills as a martial artist. Private tuition enabled Dan to Focus on various areas of advanced training including wooden dummy form, advanced footwork, short-range power and internal energy drills.

In 2008 Dan was given the opportunity to train in the art of Iron Shirt Chi Kung, consisting of conditioning, lifting drills and endurance events where physical tests were taught to show have far the body can be pushed and mental tests to show much the mind can endure. Iron shirt training led onto 21 Form Golden Bell Chi Kung, focusing on control of internal and external energies to enhance existing abilities.

In recent years Dan has committed to becoming a full time instructor opening clubs in Malvern, Worcester and Cheltenham. He is also an instructor for Kung Fu Dynamos teaching children aged 5-12; he’s also DBS and first aid certified.

Dan enjoys spending time with his partner Kaleigh and their three daughters, loves to watch super hero movies and The Walking Dead. He teaches with an open honest approach ensuring he understands his students and what they wish to achieve from the Wing Chun Dynamics system.
